Department Helper- Able to apply; Helps the departments with problems and inspects everything. The department helper works with the Progressn Reporter.

Progress Reporter- Able to apply: In charge of keeping people up to date and making sure progress is going as good as planned.

Lore DepartmentEdit

Works on the lore of the game. All empty spots are allowed to be applyed for.

Lore Director- In charge of keeping the Lore Department up and running. Answers directly to the Department Helper.- Empty

Quest Manager- Empty; Manages quests and makes sure they follow lore.

Gameplay DepartmentEdit

Works on coming up with gameplay features. All empty slots are allowed to be applyed for.

Gameplay Director- Empty; In charge of keeping the Gameplay Department up and running. Answers directly to the Department Helper.

Combat Designer- Empty; In charge of making ideas for the combat of the game. Also creates the design for weapons and ships.

Area Design DepartmentEdit

Comes up and sometimes designs the different locations on the game. All empty slots are allowed to be applyed for.

Area Design Director- Empty; In charge of keeping the Area Design Department up and running. Answers directly to the Department Helper.

City Designer- Empty; Makes the design for the cities and ports in the game.

Island Designer- Empty; Helps create designs for islands.

Programming DepartmentEdit

Works on developing the game, applicants must know C# or Javascript and Site Developers only need to know HTML and Javascript. Wiki Developers need to know MediaWiki. If you do not know how to program in one of the languages needed, ask other users for guides. If you need to know Javascript or C# basics, ask Gavin of Beyond the Sand Admin Team.

Programming Director- Empty; Keeps the department up and running, they must be able to be one of the three developers.

Game DevEdit

Gaming Dev Lead- Empty; Must know C# and Javascript. Reports to the director. Knowing LUA or Boo is also a plus.


Game Javascript Dev- Empty; Must know a lot about using Javascript in gaming.
